In honor of Prince Archie's seventh birthday on Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex released two previously unseen pictures of her son.
Meghan Markle shared the images and a heartfelt message to her oldest child with Prince Harry on Instagram.
Happy birthday to our lovely baby, seven years later, she added.
A baby Archie is seen in one of the pictures dozing off on his father's breast beneath a cream-colored blanket. The other depicts the young child and his four-year-old sister, Princess Lilibet, strolling on the beach close to the Sussexes' California home.
Since leaving Britain and resigning as senior royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan have resided at Montecito in California.
While his sister was born at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, Archie was born at the Portland Hospital in London.
Numerous other celebrities, such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Lowe, Ariana Grande, and Jeff Bridges, reside in the family's opulent Montecito neighborhood. According to reports, Winfrey alone owns three Montecito ranches totaling over 30 linked hectares and valued at approximately $US90 million ($A124 million).
Meghan has previously talked about raising her kids with "normalcy" despite the opulent surroundings.
She told People magazine, "I believe you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do after you get to know us."
Day trips with her son fall within this category.
I like to go out to lunch with Archie, have an ice cream sundae with two cherries on top, and share a burger and Caesar salad, she said.
Although the duchess has recently shared more information about them on social media, Harry and Meghan have generally raised their kids in seclusion.
A few weeks prior, both kids were featured in a post advertising Meghan's Netflix lifestyle show. A month earlier, Archie was seen skiing with his father in an Instagram video.
For Archie's sixth birthday last year, she also posted a cute picture of him gazing out into the sunset while wearing pajamas.
Meghan disclosed that the young child enjoyed a sixth birthday celebration, but she provided no other information. In June, Lilibet celebrated her fourth birthday with a trip to Disneyland.
Meghan most recently disclosed that her kids are fans of the Australian show Bluey, just like millions of people worldwide.
During an appearance on the Get Down with Sean and Marley podcast earlier this week, she said, Our kids love Bluey.
The Australian YouTubers showered Meghan with Australian-themed presents, like as swim trunks for Harry, chicken salt, Tooheys beers, cuddly toys, and NRL sweaters for the kids.
